One thing I would really like to say is before getting more laptop memory, consider the machine into which it will be installed. In case the machine can be running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory limit is 3.25GB. The installation of above this would merely constitute just a waste. Make certain that one's motherboard can handle this upgrade volume, as well. Interesting blog post.
